Review summary

We enjoyed the ports of call, except Costa Maya. The food was outstanding, the best I have ever had on a cruise. I would not sail on this ship again because of the busyness and the number of people on the ship.

The spa was awesome! Too many kid activities on this ship. I was very surprised by the waterslides. I have cruised with NCL 3 other times so I did not expect this busy of a ship.

This ship required reservations for all of the shows, which was something I had never experienced. By the time I discovered that we needed reservations, it was too late. We could not get into any of the shows.

We had an amazing main restaurant host, his name is Griffith. He made a great difference in our dining experience.

They have guest rooms directly below a night club and every night they had a venue (4 out of 7 nights) the music was crazy loud from 10:30 pm to 1:00 am. We could not sleep. The man in guest services recommended that we join the party. Hmmm, not so cool of him to say that. After we insisted they move us, our room was next to a man who partied until 2:30 am and then turned the TV up very loud and was screaming at his wife until we had to call guest services to have him quiet down. It was not a very relaxing trip - little sleep.

Make sure that you love kid activities and your room is not near the night clubs unless that is what you prefer.

So...you did no research prior to cruising on this ship? Every thing you needed to know about this ship is available in the Q&A section on the ships website. Then you could have chosen a better room from the get go. The only thing you could not have know in advance was that you would be moved next to an inconsiderate prick.
