I have been on countless numbers of cruises and this was by far the worst.
Never have I been on a ship counting the days to the end of the cruise because of boredom.
Embarkation

Not enough people to direct you, just a zoo
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The food was mediocre, tasteless and with very little variety.
The "Formal Night" consisted of a seafood buffet in the "cafeteria" which was a bunch of seafood casseroles, poor.
Onboard Activities

You could not even even sit at the pool it was so loud and it went on most of the day.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
They had the same theater shows back to back and they did this with 2 shows. I guess this is because they want you do go to the supper club for $30 pp but the laugh is they have the same shows in the Supper Club as in the theater for free.
Service and Staff

This is what happens when you have prepaid tips, poor attitude and service.
Ship Quality

The smell of smoke permeates the the floor that the casino is on, it stinks!
Cabin / Stateroom

Noisy and it took most of the day before we had our room cleaned
So do you work for RCCL or Carnival? You sound like a real gem to be around. I bet you would find "nothing to do" in Las Vegas or @ Disney World too. I guess the thousands of other people that have given it 4 stars or higher must all be wrong. It's your world and we are all living in it. Right?
RESEARCH. If you would’ve done a little research, you would’ve found that NCL only has 2 or 3 different. Broadway shows per week. But there’s a lot more to do and see. If you were bored, it’s your own fault. NCL is all about freestyle cruising, so no real formal night. Again research. Why go on a B2B without doing any research and preparation? And as the poor attitude by the staff, from reading your review, I don’t blame them.
We were on this ship in January and it was awesome. So much to do and didn’t manage everything. Couldn’t possibly have been bored and so many areas of the ship to experience and fantastic restaurants of a very high standard. The quality of the live entertainment was 1st class. Too many talented musicians and performers to mention. Pool area was busy as lots of people on holiday having ‘fun’ we used the thermal spa and the upper decks which were bliss. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Always smiling. Can’t wait to do it all again.
Impossible! You weren't trying very hard if you couldn't find anything to do or anything other than the buffet to eat. With 4000+ people on a ship it makes sense to offer shows more than once to give everyone a chance to see them if they choose. Also, on "formal night"... AKA dress up or not on NCL, they were just trying to make better offerings in all eating establishments including the "cafeteria". It is your choice to have a wonderful time on vacation or nit pick it apart for a week, be miserable and count the days until its over. We all know your choice!
Not sure that this can be a serious review.. If you were on B2B NCL Escape cruises surely during in 14days you stumbled by one of the dozen or more restaurants and discovered there was more than just the ‘cafeteria’.... Who in their right mind would choose to dine in the ‘cafeteria’ on a formal night (if NCL actually held formal nights)... As for poor attitude, maybe the staff felt it was best to stay out of your way?
