Review summary

entertainment was excellant.......service was fantastic......specialty dining was out of sight great.....room sucked....no sound insulation.......nobody around us could get any sleep.....complaint went nowhere....said first they heard of it....they need to good to the room nd stay 15 mins...then they can see what all of us went thru.....

This as well as allot of other cabins are located under the Cafe with the Buffet...loud bangs and roller noises all night and day...every day.....cant sleep...ceiling has no sound insulation...everybody was complaining...went down to guest relations..they said first they heard of this...a couple two doors down went the day before to complain...they told them the same thing...do not book any cabin aft on the 15 floor...

Thus why I pack ear plugs in our first aid kit just in case. I'll be damn if noisey neighbors or decks gonna ruin my vacation I waited a year for.

You can look at each deck plan and thus avoid choosing the rooms that are under the buffet or near other potentially noisy spots.

Once had a cabin under the kids splash academy, bouncing and noise way after midnight! It does pay to book early, check out the ship decks on line and get a good one!

Santina, it won't effect you at all; it's only the cabins immediately under the buffet, from about 5am until late at night it sounds like you're in a subway station as the food trolleys are trundled around above you... happened to us once, what mfvale says is correct, those cabins are terrible...

Thought when I read the comment it had to be a cabin beneath the buffet... all ships seem to be the same... The answer is to book early to make sure you don't get stuck under the buffet. Those cabins should be left well alone so that they get allocated to those who opt for the much cheaper BX / IX category cabins...
