Review summary

great cruise, great crew. Norwegian really has put a lot of thought into the ship design, crew type and what makes the customer/guests happy. I plan on booking another for next year

Embarkation

we chose Norwegian ground transportation for our cruise. It was great, we landed in Miami and got on the Norwegian bus and never had to touch our bags till we got to the room. That alone makes embarking easier. My wife is blind and they really catered to her. She was allowed to get on the ship early so that it would be easier for to get on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
every restaurant had fantastic food. We got the specialty dining perk and the unlimited beverage perk. The specialty dining restaurants were top notch Le Bistro French food was well presented and nice size. The appetizers were delicious. I got three appetizers and an entree. The drinks were flowing. I think I tried every mix drink known to man. The BBC drink was great. All the wait staff and bartenders were very friendly

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Glow party, 80's party, Broadway type shows, comedy shows that made me laugh so hard my face hurt. The entertainment was top notch and Tyler Gray the cruise director was one of the most amazing people. He was everywhere. Someone said it best " it's like there is five of him"

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
everyone that works on this ship really seems to love what they do. They all truly smile, say hello and interact with all the guests. I can honestly say that I never heard or saw one employee that upset or mad. The crew makes you feel special, whether it by saying hello or taking care of the cabin. They put a full effort into it.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
easy to maneuver about. 5000 people on board and you would never know it. There are so many activities and shows going on that people are spread all about. Even getting on and off at the ports Norwegian has it figured out so that it moves you quickly on and off at ports. Design of ship is beautiful the styles and accents all flow nicely

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
all cabins are snug but work nicely. Having a balcony room is great. You can go out to feel the breeze or see the ports as you enter. Shower was nice and hot, not like most hotels.

Ship tip

prepare to have fun. Really read the daily itinerary. Bring highlighter to mark off what you want to do each day. Research the ports. We like to do our own thing at each port and you can plan your day the way you want to.

GET A porter to help with luggage. He helped us from the bags, through customs and right to our proper bus. I would have tipped him a $20 if I had known how good this service was. I was able to scrounge up 10 bucks and felt guilty I couldn't give him more. He made disembarking a breeze.
