Review summary

I was nervous that such a big ship would end up like a shopping mall at Christmas. But I was very surprised it was not like that at all. They handle a 4200 passengers as if there were only 2000 on board. Never had to what in long lines or denied access to anything because of demand for the same thing by other pasionsengers.

There is only 2 points that disappointed me. Did not care for the pool layout at all. Here it was always crowed, you are in a very tight location, and it is in a "pit" down in the ship. It  is basically located on 16th floor, but floors 17,18,19 surround and tower around it on all sides.

The other point, The Haven area is basically in the front 1/3 of the ship. If you don't have a Haven ticket you cannot get there. But Haven people can go everywhere. Didn't like the AUROA of class structure  of guests so obviously in your face.

Ship tip

Drinks are very steep in price on the ala carte method. But the all you can drink option is still no bargain unless you are an alcoholic.

I have loved Nassau for years, but it has gotten out of hand in it's pricing. Most decent things to visit and do are now price gouged. I would rather have the ship stop at it's private island.

Spend the extra $$$ and stay in the Haven or just stay with the common people!!

The pool area stinks! That was my biggest downfall as well. Since I am a sun worshipper, I went to the deck above the pool. It was less crowded because it's so darn hot. I was always able to secure a chair and a good sun spot.

if you want all the benefits of the Haven then stay in the Haven

Hope NCL take note of this pool issue when the ship is taken to drydock. This situation of the Haven, bring the Titanic to my mind.
