Savor on Norwegian Escape

It's just an extension of taste and just as good

I’ll lump Taste/Savor/The Manhattan Room together here since I think this was the one of the three we ate at most often for no specific reason. Great places to eat if you’re not in any big rush. Dinner is served nightly at all three. Breakfast each morning at Taste/Savor and lunch on sea days only at Taste/Savor. On a 7 day cruise the menu rotates enough that you don’t need to have any repeat meals, unless you want to. Food was always served hot and within reasonable times. Never had to wait for a table to be ready but we usually went around the time they opened, so the crowds weren’t there yet and we always got a window seat. Manhattan Room is just one big room so noise level is much higher but it feels slightly more posh. Taste/Savor are much smaller and the room is segmented off so it’s much quieter and a more intimate feel.

Excellent food and service

We had breakfast and dinner in here a few times, same as the Taste. Same everything about it…. They don’t refill your water glasses when we asked several times. Their blueberry pancakes were delicious, we noticed a lot of tables ran out of butter. Take a light jacket or sweater as the air was so cold, lots of ladies were using their napkin to cover their arms.

We went here on the first night, so not sure if this is why the service was not the greatest. We waited a long time between our dishes, and it appeared the server was a bit overwhelmed. We had to ask for our room card back at the end of the meal, she forgot she had taken it. The food was tasty, though.

Excellent. Would be better if late diners were placed in proximity of each other to avoid the hustle and bustle of re-setting tables and cleaning

We really enjoyed the service and quiet atmosphere. Food was great.

Awful! The food was tasteless and cold. But, the servers were great and work really hard to make everyone happy! !
