We never intended to get hooked on cruising, but this was the first of many future cruises. The staff on this ship were awesome (at the time), we had no issues with anything and truly got hooked on cruising and NCL. We've done two Princess Cruises since but still favour NCL as our go to cruise line

A little dated, we didn't enjoy walking through the smoke filled casino but learned quickly to go up/down a deck to avoid it.

Cabin / Stateroom

We enjoyed the set up of the cabin, separate shower from the sink/toilet. Hard shower door instead of a flimsy curtain was appreciated
Ship tip
Look high and low, there's many tucked away locations that few cruises seem to find (for deck space/lounging and relaxing.)
I cruised on the Epic years ago and I did have a good time, but I as far as cabin layout, that was the only negative. I was traveling solo, so was no big deal, but if had 1, 2, or 3 others in cabin, it could become awkward for people entering or leaving cabin with a shaded view of person showering.
