Review summary
Thanks to all the kids and their inconsiderate parents, our #10 cruise (second on the Epic) has been chalked up to our worse cruise ever !! We never rated our cruises until now. This ship seems to just be here to make money and doesn't care much for anything once it hits the sea. The best thing about dining was the " washy washy" girl going into the Garden Buffet actually refusing a lot of people from entering because they tried to sneak their kids in dripping wet from the pool along with no shirts or shoes !!! Hats off to her. Then to see these people put food on a plate, show it to the kid, then put it back when they said they didn't want that stuff. YUCK !!! Then the chair problem on the upper deck ......2 adults, 5 kids from the age of a few months to probably 6 and hogging up 7 lounge chairs. Hats off to the guards removing their stuff after an hour and letting someone else use the chairs !!! I can go on and on but I have decided to just chalk it up as the bad one. Just too many people, too many strollers, too many screaming kids running around wild and unsupervised !!! Even the guard at the pool was disgusted, poor thing had to blow his whistle all day. Did I hear correctly that kids cruised for free on this one and their gratuity was waved ??? No wonder the staff was laid back for the most part. Not gonna make a killing on drinks nor in the casino with 50% of the people being under 18. Can't say I don't blame them but it should be made up to the hundreds of people that did pay alot for our vacation !!!

You indicated that you are an experienced cruiser. Did your agent or TA not research the time frame for the cruise and the amount of children that were going to be on this particular ship? I've only been on a few cruises, and yes, there were rug rats, but not many. We make it a point not to book if my TA indicates a large amount of Kids due to school breaks or Holidays..
