When I originally booked asked to make sure the balcony was not obstructed view. This room 11004 has a metal plate to the floor, not glass to the floor, so in order to see you have to be standing, so we could not enjoy the balcony as we wanted to.

Ship tip

Do not book when it is spring break, had wanted a more adult experience and there were a lot of college and high school age on this cruise.

Ports of call

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

Sea was to rough to take the tenders over to the island

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Our shore excursion guide and tour was wonderful. Lots of history.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

The shore excursion we went on was supposed to be informative on the history of St. Thomas. The vehicle used was an old open air taxi, the driver was located inside the cabin of the taxi, the speaker he was using to speak you could not understand what he was saying. He took us mostly to shopping area, no history and the same view of the island at different elevations only. Spent 2 hours at the beach which was lovely, however, it would have been nice to know there would be no beverages available until after we left as this was our first stop on the tour and the beverage station did not open until 10am. Also, there was a $20 per person charge to rent a lounge chair for two hours plus they charged an $8 service charge for using a credit card, as we did not know to bring extra cash for this. I would advise not to take this excursion.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Great tour guide, took us all over and told us all about the history. Went to an Amber museum, Rum making factory, umbrella street, old church...etc. Excellent recommend highly.
