Review summary

Stay at ports longer that 6-8 hours would be better.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was okay, we had to wait for a while even though we had a boarding slot time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Specialty dining was not bad, but the buffets were horrible especially for breakfast.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Waterslides were decent, pools and spas were very small and were packed. Sun bathing loungers are wore out.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Burn the floor was horrible for me. Piano guy at the bar was like a beginner. Trivia was good.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Some waiters were nice and some were rude. Room steward was nice but would forget to do stuff for us like get our distilled water for sleeping machine. Most of the ship personnel were friendly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was clean, older design for sure even though it was upgraded in 2020 supposedly.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Room had a mold smell. Could not walk by my wife side by side near the bed. For a Large balcony it was very small. It showed clean but the mold smell caused a bad cough.

Ship tip

Try a newer ship that will provide better rooms and food quality. Clear, Concise Communication is very important.

It was ok for the private island. Not what I expected.

This place was very cool and we went to the fort and it was awesome.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
Very nice views and the Drakes bay excursion was well worth it. Needed more time on the island though.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
Very nice port, lots of things to do. However need more time in port

Disembarkation

Agree. Longer time in port is nice. That’s why I always pick cruises that offer that
