Review summary

We had a fabulous time! The staff absolutely "wowed" us. We were traveling with some "high-maintenance" family and the staff never lost their cool. They went above and beyond and because of that we will absolutely choose Norwegian again and will highly recommend to family (not the high-maintenance ones!) and friends! The entertainment was fantastic. There was something for everyone. Whatever vibe we were in the mood for, it was somewhere on the ship at all times! Thank you for a great escape from reality!

Size, comfort, and cleanliness were great. Didn't sleep on the final evening because sliding glass door was constantly banging loudly due to wind. Not sure if that's normal or if the doors need attention. Our hand soap dispenser was leaking. Couldn't hear any announcements while inside our room. Not sure if we're supposed to hear through a speaker in the room or not. All these things are minor. We still had an amazing time and thought out state room was great!

Ship tip

If you want to stay on the ship for one of the days you're in port, choose Puerto Plata, DR if that's a choice.

Glad you enjoyed it. As far as the announcements you turn the tv channel to the cruise info channel and it will lay the announcements on the tv. I don’t know why they don’t tell people that or put a note on the tv.
