Review summary

We would definitely book the owners suite again as it was an excellent room and we enjoyed all the perks. The ports visited were nice and even though we have been to the same ones many times before, they are great as always. Lines were not long as experienced on other cruises we have been on. On board gym is very nice if you are planning a visit. One tip we would give out to those thinking of booking a "mini suite", it is merely a balcony room. We have tried it and were not impressed. If you are already booked in one, then enjoy it! It was not a bad room by any means, just was expecting a little more since it is called a "Mini suite" where it should be titled extended balcony.

Haven allowed us quick check in!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Part of the "4 free" options that came with the booking, we ate at a few of the onboard restaurants and enjoyed all of them. Main dining room meals were very good. Drinks were great.

O'Sheehans Neighborhood Bar and Grill

Great late night snack place. Food was really good in my opinion

Fun, just like on land.

The Manhattan Room

5 out of 5

We enjoyed the food served and were satisfied with the service we received.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
As a family we always find things to do and never get bored or too busy (since this is a vacation!) We were satisfied at the activities offered on board and the space to relax.

The Marketplace

5 out of 5

We ate here almost every day and the lines were not long at all. Food was good.

Bowling

5 out of 5

Very cool to experience on a ship, something to do! There was a fee when we sailed.

Fitness Center

4 out of 5

Very nice machines and pretty large area. Dumbbells only went up to 50.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Impressed, went to a few shows but not all of them.

Headliners Comedy Club

5 out of 5

Funny as always, comedians vary but the facility was nice.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We received excellent service from all crew members and the butler. Our room steward did a really good job, above and beyond.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Design is very unique among the cruise industry. A very top heavy ship with a european look. The Epic was in great shape, not showing signs of wear and tear surprisingly. The layout was easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This cabin made the trip even better! A huge room with a master bedroom and bathroom with a bathtub, walk in shower, dual sinks, enclosed bathroom, vanity seat and mirror. Main living room had a pullout couch and a separate bathroom (toilet and sink). A dining room table allowed us to have breakfast on most days in the cabin although we never ate dinner in the room. The balcony was massive and had nice views of the water and the main deck. It should be noted that there is an elevator shaft on the right side of the balcony however, it never was "in the way" of anything for us and did not bother us at all.

Ship tip

Carry your luggage off the ship yourself if able and willing to. Had a pair of shoes taken out of my bag and some random kids shorts mixed in with my clothes. This happened either down in the crew area or on land while going through customs. I watched my bag get taken from outside my cabin by the crewmember so I know it was not a fellow passenger.

Nice port, visited Atlantis and that was about it.

Falmouth, Jamaica

We did not wander to far off touristy areas as it can get a little dangerous in some areas.

Beach day and enjoyed every bit of it.
