Best being with friends. Worse cruise ever. Pray you don't have to go to medical on Epic. Take a GPS if you do. Medical in awful location. have to go through rows and rows of cabins.

Review summary

Best part of cruise was meeting friends we hadn't seen in awhile. Entertainment good but a lot of smaller shows were overflowing with people. We never did get into some of them. Needed to have more shows or bigger area. The stops were good, food good, our room was always clean and neat. What over shadowed my trip was the medical. Something so important and not accessible as it should have been. Everyone expected Medical to be like Drs office. 9-5 hours.

horrible. don't care how you stagger, 4200 people get dumped into too few lines to get off. Baggage not in color code where it was suppose to be. People complaining all round, never doing norwegian again

We didn't do this. At 69 and 73 years old we decided to skip this. We did enjoy laying in lounge chairs and watching kids climb up. They really enjoyed this venue and we enjoyed watching

Didn't care for Burn the floor. Too loud but dancers were very good. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert was like going to Broadway musical. It was AWESOME!!!!!

I had to go to medical twice. Once I saw Dr, other time I gave up after 3 attempts to get in. Think it needs to be in a more common area. Needs to be more accessible. I had fallen on wet deck and hurt my knee, walking what seemed like miles to get to medical was awful.

Cabin / Stateroom

Have been in inside before, never this small. The lighting was awful. Common complaint was so dimly lit had trouble putting on make up. Had to turn on bathroom light and shower and open mirrored closet door to try to get enough light.

Ship tip

Not sure I would advise going on Epic. Went with friends who sailed before on it, said it wasn't like this. They didn't know what happened

Have been to Cozumel 3 times. It was ok, lots of fun with friends. This is another stop that had greatly improved. There was a nice 2 story open air mall. Nice to walk around and gather with friends. Went out onto streets a bit but not too far. It looked like they also had been cleaned up to be more tourist friendly

Disembarkation

Can't say enough about how awful it was. Long lines of people getting off ship, dumped out into warehouse type place. Luggage was on top of tables, under tables and all over. It was color coded but not all your luggage was where the color was. One bag out of 4 was in our color. people complaining they'd never take Norwegian again. My advice spend the money on a porter. They go ahead of everyone. It saved us at least half an hour of standing around.

Unless i was dying i would stay away from medical on a ship. I made that mistake once. Docs on ships do not need to have any experience outthat than med school to get hired. I am an RN, so i always travel with a first aid kit and antibiotics and otc meds that may be needed
