The food is very good on NCL. The embarkation was very long. The ports were great, the ship was great, calm seas. I got 3 free meals at the restaurants and since I didn't book them in advance, they, of course, got booked up and couldn't get into the 3rd restaurant, I wanted to go into the Japanese Steakhouse. The shows also have to be booked in advance. I booked one show on land and the date was changed to when I had the Cirque show, therefore, I couldn't go. I don't like having to have to reserve the shows and not be able to just walk in.
Embarkation

A 2 hour wait to get onboard. Only on NCL have I have long embarkation. I've cruised Royal Caribbean and Princess, in addition to NCL and it's never taken 2 hours to board any of those ships.

Excellent! My only complaint is the food can be sometimes salty but all of our meals were very good.

The Cirque Dreams was excellent! For such a small space, it was amazing to see them up close and the food was also very good too. We paid for the upgraded seats up top and they provided a great view.

Tebow was our cabin steward and he was beyond excellent!!! His partner - I forget his name, but he, too, was excellent! They went above and beyond for us!

The layout was OK.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bathrooms in the balcony cabins were ridiculous. A stupid set up. We made it work but it was basically in the cabin, no bathroom. The cabins were very narrow. There was enough of storage.
The only negative is the fact that you have to tender at this port. I've been here many years ago and I don't remember having to tender. The shops were very good.
It was nice to be able to walk off the ship at this port and be able to shop. The jewelry prices were all over the place. They seemed to try to get you to pay much more than an item is worth. That, I didn't like.
