Review summary
From embarkation to disembarkation, it was a wonderful cruise. My advice: do some research beforehand so that you can set your expectations accordingly, and so details like the bathroom setup and show reservations will not come as bad surprises during the cruise.
Dining: Exceptional variety of food in the buffet. Everyday there was a special in the Garden Cafe (seafood night, asian, bavarian lunch, etc.)
Food was excellent in all venues. We ate at Taste, Manhattan, Moderno, Cagney's, O'Sheehan's, Teppanyaki. Service was quick and efficient.
Service: Service in O'Sheehan's needs some improvement, but it was still adequate. Other than that we encountered amazing staff all around the ship. Our stateroom attendant took the time to learn our names and greeted us by name everytime we would see him. Great crew!
Entertainement: EXCEPTIONAL! The best we have seen on a cruise ship by far. Priscilla, Burn the Floor, Cirque Dreams, not to be missed!
Ship: Numerous activities, everyday, for everyone. The waterpark is impressive. We enjoyed it a lot as there was almost no one waiting in line for any of the three waterslides, even on sea days. We sailed at full capacity, but it never felt crowded and elevators were available pretty quickly, except on embarkation and disembarkation day, as it is the case on any cruise ship. We never waited to be seated in restaurants and there is a lot of seating available in the buffet, both inside and outside, so no problem there. The casino area on deck 6 was not an issue for us. The air circulation was good, smoke smell was minimal.
Itinerary: Wonderful ports of call. Tangier, Las Palmas and Lanzarote were all unique and we enjoyed the three of them. We missed Malaga due to bad weather.
Overall: It was our first experience on a megaship and I can say we will continue to sail on larger ships, because of the variety and number of venues and activities. Food was excellent, as well as service all around the ship.
We will be back on Norwegian Epic!

They do not have the Blue Man Group show anymore. The two main shows are Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Burn the Floor. There are additional shows as well.

For the must-dos: I would say take the time to read the freestyle daily. There are great number of activities and you will find the ones that suit you best.
Shows are extraordinary! You definitely have to see Priscilla, Burn the Floor and Cirque Dreams!
Enjoy your cruise!

There is an adult-only area in the back of the ship with a pool, two hot tubs, a giant screen, a bar and a grill buffet. It is adult-only from 8AM to 8PM. At night there is often a family movie under the stars or some kind of a dance party.
