Review summary

This ship had only 2 locations if you wanted some peaceful time on deck. One location provided no shade and said it was an adult area Deck 15. The other location on Deck 18 the top deck which of course is the smallest had no shady areas. There were only three restaurants and the buffet area that did not charge extra for meals. The two restaurants provided the same menu each day offering limited choices. The buffet offered huge choices but was like a cattle call with not enough seating to accommodate enough passengers at the various times. The wait staff and bar personnel were outstanding. Entertainment was very good. Would I cruse again with NCL not because of the above reasons.

Shower was larger than expected on a cruise ship. Sink area is along side bed. The sink is very small with low water pressure so you get water all over the counter top. Closet space was good as well as firmness of mattress.

Ship tip

If you don't like loud areas and high decibels of live music take ear plugs. Also advise taking ear plugs when going to the Epic theater for shows. For some reason they like to increase the volume to the max distorting the voices of the singers.

Bad weather that day the minute you arrived you had to return. It would have been better to cancel the trip.

just got off also loved the shows...saw everyone with no reservations...even the comedy shows...the food was ok in the 2 main site down dining rooms...great in the pub and the noodle bar...never had a problem in the buffet with lines or finding a table...usually had lunch around noon and breakfast around 8ish but I'm with you on finding quiet places on deck....finally found a place up near the rock walls on the back side out of the wind

The Epic has two main dining rooms, the buffet, O'Sheehan's, and various grills for complimentary dining. Then there are the Specialty Dining restaurants such as Cagney's, Moderno, La Cucina, Le Bistro, and Teppanyaki, all of which are worth the extra money. As such, there are plenty of dining options aboard this ship.

We were miserable on this ship but we made the most of a bad situation. You did bring back a few bad memories. I forgot about there hardly EVER being an empty table available. We also had to wait for silverware a few times. Anyway. No more Epic for us!!

Think u were on a different ship there are are about 8 restaurants which are complimentary and there are lots of peaceful areas to sunbathe. Deck 19 at the top of the ship always had hundreds of empty beds.
