Review summary

We have sailed on five different Norwegian ships as well as many other cruise lines. All The crew members on the Epic were the best of the best. The concierge ( Elvina De Menezes) was the best we have ever experienced. She went way above and beyond what we expected. The Haven Suites along with all the perks made our cruise very enjoyable. We ate at a different specialty restaurant each night and loved each meal.

We like the penthouse suites on the Dawn and Star much better than the suites in the Haven on the Epic. We found the penthouse suite on the Dawn & Star were larger and laid out much better.

Ship tip

Once you upgrade to the Haven with all the perks it would be real hard to go backwards.

@ honey1960. That would be great. Our cruise on the Epic is in the Caribbean. I would be interested in hearing about the entertainment,meals and general ship layout. Thanks in advance and enjoy your cruise⛴🛳

@wildfan43 I will keep you informed. We have already sailed the Getaway and the Escape so we kinda know what to expect with a big ship. I see you are also from MN. It's always good to leave here in the winter

We sail in 5 days, and I will write a review! Certainly agree that you can't please everyone. The ports are my main focus and am looking forward to the entertainment, as well. Who can really complain when you're away from work and sailing the Mediterranean for a week??

@jmwilliams. It does sound like a lot of the cruise is what you make of it. It sounds like a lot of the ships have people complaining about something. We are going to go into ours with an open mind and make the best out of it. Good luck on your cruise and keep us informed on what you decide to do.

Epic is huge. I felt I would have had a better time if I had had special dining with more comfortable accommodations. They would have allowed me to avoid the crowds. It almost seemed like those who had better accommodations were on a different ship. You will get what you paid for in addition to be willing to have a good time. Expectations and attitude are important.
