Review summary

We loved this trip! I traveled with two children ages 11 and 15. There was plenty to do onboard, and the ports we stopped in were great. The Blue Man Group was fabulous and the kids chose to see it twice. The cirque dinner was a lot of fun and worth seeing. The water slides were fantastic but tended to be overcrowded most days. We upgraded to a mini- suite which was ample in size but still a little tight. The food was good. My suggestion for travelers is to push to get more information about the ports you stop at. When I first inquired about our ports and potential shore excursions, they really "pushed" the shore excursions and were reluctant to provide information about getting around each port on our own. The excursions are very pricey, so I didn't want to do one at every stop, and it took a lot of pressing, questions, and info from fellow passengers to find out which stops are worth paying for an excursion, and which stops are just as easy and less pricey to venture out on our own. It's worth taking some time to find this out in advance.
