Embarkation

Pay close attention when pulling in to the terminal…not obvious and you can easily drive past. Once inside the embarkation process went fine, especially for a full spring break cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We went to Los Lobos— other than the table Gauc and carne asada none of us thought it was that good. Cagneys— fantastic from start to finish. Huge deserts just fyi… Main Dining- food was fine, Speed of service was horrible! Not a knock on the wait staff, they all were hustling but they just need more help is all. If you need to make it to an event ask for the desert menu and order with your meal and let them know you need to be out. We did this the night we went to Choir of Man and had no issues. Buffet— we were impressed. Could find seats and the food was good Local- always found something good to eat

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
A lot of games, presentations, and trivia throughout the ship that were fun Go-karts- sad to say you should be 16 or older to drive a solo. Any sideswiping or small drivers who can’t turn the wheel and get stuck slows all karts down which heavily impacts your 8mins Laser tag area looked cool but would be better suited to an aft pool? Also had very limited open hours Water slides were fine. As others have said, pool area too small for the ship

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Choir of Man was outstanding Comedian Rob Little (I think?) was hilarious Wheel of fortune game was ok, but miss the 2nd stage show but I get it A lot of pay type games onboard, bingo, deal or no deal, etc

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
We have 3 16yr olds who had fun when they could get in. 600 teens onboard we were told

Very good size, well maintained and spacious. We had adjoining balconies with our kids and then another inside cabin which was very nice too

Ship tip

We booked a cabana on GSC and had priority getting on a tender…a lot of folks sat for a long time to get off.

Ports of call

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

We did the Dammagua waterfalls and buggies tour and had a blast! Follow the strenuous warning however. If you have any health issues you will not make the 45min up hill hike for the falls.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Beautiful. We rented a cabana which was nice to get off the ship early and have some dedicated shade and place to eat. Water and beach were amazing

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

4 out of 5
We took the Virgin Gorda Baths tour. Very beautiful however way too large of volume of people! It is a check off the list place and never come back…or just stay onboard the ship

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
We just wandered around the shops and took the ride to Paradise Point! Beautiful views. A lot to do on further visits

Disembarkation
