This was a great cruise that we were able to share with two other families. Everything was good from start to finish. The embarkation process was very easy. The ship is very clean, and the food was excellent. The ship's crew was top notch. The Choir of Man was Awesome!!! Cruising is back so there were definitely a lot of people on the ship. 100% capacity. Can't wait for the next one!!!!!
Embarkation

Embarkation was very easy. They have this down, especially with the scheduling of appointment times.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was very good to excellent. Main Dining room had many very good choices from the appetizers to the entrees. I really like the Shrimp fettuccine Alfredo!!! Cagney's was ridiculously great!!! Some of the best food we had!! Food Republic was very good also. Although I didn't care for ordering our food through a prompter on the table. It lost a little of the fine dining aspect. "Q" BBQ was also good and had a live country band playing while we ate. Portions were very big for all the specialty restaurants!!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Activities were fine. Ship was crowded so it made it a challenge to do things. It was Thursday before we finally made it to the Hot tub / pool area. Best times to go was when people were in port.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Choir of Man is the best show I've seen on a cruise ship. The cast killed it!!! We saw the same show a year prior and this cast ad-libbed some compared to the other show and I thought it made it even better. They also brought my wife on stage for one part that I thought was cool.
Children's Programs
Our daughter hung out with other families in our party.
Service and Staff

All the crew members were very friendly and accommodating!!!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This is a newer ship with updated designs and features. I particularly like the screens on the walls by the elevators which help you find and book things.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room was very clean and somewhat spacious. We particularly like the bathroom and balcony areas!
Ship tip
Make sure you explore the whole ship. Especially the observation lounge. We had Starbucks coffee and conversation most early mornings. Very peaceful!!!
Miami is a cool city!! At the end of the cruise we did the Miami City Tour. It started off rocky, but got interesting the further we kept going. It also drops you off at the airport at the end of the tour which is helpful.
Puerto Plata was nice. We did the Damajagua Waterfall full experience. The waterfalls and slides were great!! The climb / hike to it was another story. It was around 45 minutes of pure hiking. Make sure you're in pretty good shape for this one. We made it to the top, but it wasn't easy!!! Great experience with family and friends overall!!!
This is a nice port. We got off the ship and took a taxi over to Charlotte Amalie for some lunch, drinks and shopping!!! A nice way to get through the day!!!
We booked the One-Bedroom Villa with two other families. We had an awesome time!!! The accommodations were great, and the upgraded buffet was very good!! The lagoon seemed empty like we had it to ourselves!! The main beach area was a different story!! If you're looking to be pampered and have a peaceful experience, Silver Cove is the way to go!!!
