We used one of our free dining options for this and we’re happy we went. I got brisket and hubby (who is from Texas) got beef short ribs. All very good. A nice plus was the county music playing. Can’t remember band name but fro Australia and New Zealand playing American country. They were great.

Haven spa suite. We loved using spa and didn’t mind the walk to haven proper for meals and observation deck. The room has a spa tub (in the living area)and a nice shower in bathroom. Walk in closet and lots of space on double balcony. Impeccable service all around.

Arrived a couple of days early and explored. Pike market very crowded. Waterfront area much better with less crowds. Found some nice restaurants for seafood on the water. Lots of walking and currently lots of construction in the waterfront area. But still enjoyed.

First day and it was cold and raining. Not a great way to begin. We did the whale watching and hike through rain forest. Glad I had boots and rain gear. Luckily our tour guide was awesome and kept it interesting. 5-1/2 hour tour. Would have been better if weather cooperated.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Took a salmon fishing excursion. It was a definite highlight. 4 on a boat so personal service. We caught 6 salmon and had them shipped home. Young captain and his wife on the Boomerang were lovely and we all had a great time. Wish the stop was longer as we only had time to fish. Never saw the town.

Cruise Glacier Bay

Spent hours on the upstairs observation deck. It was so beautiful and we both really loved seeing the glacier.
