This was a wonderful cruise. The Encore is new and beautiful. Staff were excellent. Food was excellent. Only thing negative as stated above, was not receiving our final charges bill (in an email which we did receive, however, it was blank) to make sure they were correct and now have to wait up to 30 days to receive a copy.

Embarkation was time consuming given as everyone needed to be rapid tested for Covid. Not complaining at all. Was done very professionally and we were glad that NCL made it compulsory prior to boarding for everyones safety.

We only dined in the Manhattan Room once which was good. The specialty restaurants especially Le Bistro and Cagneys were outstanding. The Garden Cafe was very good as there was quite a selection to choose from.
Onboard Activities

My husband enjoyed the Speedway very much, probably should've purchased the package for the whole week. A must try. Only comment is that there should be a prerequisite for categories of driving experience or levels for drivers as some did block the track or bumped into the car at times or drove gingerly which did slow down the real racers. But really a must try for car enthusiasts.

We didn't have children. Also this cruise was restricted to those who had their Covid shots and tested negative at the pier.

Service and staff were excellent!!! We are platinum latitude members and must say that this cruise was one of the best given the service and staff on board.

The Encore ship is fantastic. Everywhere on the ship was exceedingly clean and well maintained. Loved it.

Ship tip
The only negative comment is that NCL has gone paperless for your final bill which was to be emailed. We did receive the email, however, the entire part of the bill was blank. Make sure you go to Guest Services on the last night of your cruise to get a paper copy to verify your charges. Upon return home, we called NCL and the only way we could request our final bill was to complete a form online and wait up to 30 days for a copy. Going paperless is a good idea, however, NCL need to error proof their method.
This was cancelled due to Covid in the Dominican. We were disappointed however, health is more important. NCL did stop in Nassau which we did visit the port. We've been there many times.
