Plenty of rooms but need more pools and jacuzzi’s.

Review summary

7 day cruise or more is too much. 4 day cruises and resorts would probably be the better way to go. No, time strains.

Employees work really hard but can also tell that a lot of them are not to happy.

Ship Quality

1 gym for this large ship is not enough.

Ship tip

Pull out couch is very uncomfortable and this room is not comfortable for a family of 4. Room is non-smoking but I believe that the room to the right is a smoking room or the person was smoking in a non-smoking room.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

1 out of 5
Hate that the luggage area Norweigen and others don’t have enough seats or charging areas.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
3 hour tour with 1 hour beach was worth it.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Port is awesome and Megan’s Bay Beach is all right.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

2 out of 5
Not a long enough stay to do anything.

Wow, for us the longer the cruise the better

7 days is not enough

Smoking is prohibited in all cabins. One thing I liked about the Encore is the lack of smoking areas; a small area on deck 8, another small area on deck 16 and a separate room in the casino; these are the only places people can smoke.

7 days is the minimum we even consider. I can’t imagine going back to a 3-5 day itinerary.

For us we prefer 9+, did a 17 day about a year ago and it was great. 7 days we are just getting settled in. We are on one now and have another in November but it was what worked for the time.

My last cruise was a 10 and it was over way to soon going on a 12 next. Maybe you just had a bad experience, try a different ship or cruise line.

We've done 10 days plus the last few cruises & love it!

Perhaps after some very special experiences on ships you will feel as we do ,7 ,no less unless you are going with newer cruisers who feel as you do now!

Sorry you had a bad experience! I’m crazy and think anything less than an 8 day is too little haha
