Review summary

If it wasn't for the itinerary, this cruise would have been awful. Even with that, we missed the one port we were looking forward to go to. Luckily we had great experiences at the majority of other ports.

Southampton cruise port was very easy to navigate and get on board

Buffet was ok, not expecting much. The two speciality restaurants were were also just ok. Best experience (food and service) was at O'Sheehan's. Aqua was too loud and busy. Venetian was very slow service each time we went.

We came on a Sunday and majority of restaurants and shops were closed or closed early. Maybe just don't allow cruise ships to visit on Sunday if 90% of the town is closed?

Too bad you spent your cruise being disappointed rather than having a great time or making best of less than perfect days. Cruises are what you make if them, and I enjoy every one of my cruises, even if there isn't a lot going on that interests me.
