Review summary

Overall had a great vacation, just wished that I had researched the ship a bit more. It is an older ship, but does look as though it has received a refresh in the carpeting. Opt for a special dining offering, as the food and experience is much better than in the main dining rooms. I will say that while this is an older ship, the staff and cleanliness were excellent. I really enjoyed all of the ports visited, but would wish that the time in port was longer.

Food and Dining

The complimentary offerings were just okay but we did enjoy the Japanese dining experience, which you do have to pay for.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
All of the entertainers and shows were good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
While the ship was older, all of the staff were very friendly and the service was great.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Older ship but it was clean and appears to have had a recent refresh of carpeting.

Cabin / Stateroom

I like that they got rid of the shower curtain in favor of a sliding shower door. Beds were very comfortable.

Ship tip

Just know that this is an older ship and if going on this particular itinerary, weather may impact the outdoor activities. It was windy and cool most of the trip.
