Typical cruise balcony cabin. Rarely saw our steward but room was clean and spacious

Ship tip

Ship was great for a heavy port itinerary, wouldn’t want to spend many sea days on this ship though.

Ports of call

Cobh (Cork), Ireland

5 out of 5
Fantastic little city, train ride from cobh to cork is only about 15 minutes and cost €4.60 per person and very easy to use. No need for an excursion if you are just going to town.

Dun Laoghaire (Dublin), Ireland

5 out of 5
Tender was about a 20 minute ride and then you take a train into Pearce station. Did HOHO, did not do Guinness tour but saw so much. Temple bar was so neat. The bank bar was beautiful, Christchurch was amazing. Was going to see the Long Room and book of Kells at Trinity College but it is still closed for restoration. If it is on your list make sure it has reopened, disappointed to miss this.

Liverpool, England

5 out of 5
Loved Liverpool, did the Beatles HOHO and saw so many amazing Beatles sites, went to the Cavern club and was amazed at the history of the club. Penny lane, Strawberry fields, John and Paul’s house…. So many fantastic things to do…

Belfast, Northern Ireland

5 out of 5
Did HOHO and learned a ton of information regarding the troubles. Had a Guinness at the Crown Bar and wandered around the city.

Copenhagen, Denmark

5 out of 5
Copenhagen is a gorgeous city. So clean and beautiful, went in 2 days early and went to Tivoli Gardens and Nyhavn. Would have loved to spend more time there.

Invergordon (Inverness & Loch Ness), Scotland

5 out of 5
Loved Inverness, the city was so easy to get around… FYI Leaky’s Bookstore is closed on Sunday. Sad I missed it.

Portland (Weymouth), England, UK

5 out of 5
Went to Corfe Castle and the town, about a 45 minute ride but so worth it. Castle was amazing and town was so quaint. Did this excursion through the ship.

NEWHAVEN HARBOUR (EDINBURGH), SCOTLAND

5 out of 5
We went to St. Andrews and loved seeing the golf course and the town. It is a 80 minute bus ride out to the course so keep that in mind.

Kirkwall, Orkney Islands, Scotland

5 out of 5
We were there from 6am till 2, so just wandered around the city. Main church is beautiful.

Sounds like this cruise was all about the itinerary and you made the most of it, great details! If you ever get the chance to go back to Copenhagen try for November or December, Tivoli is stunning and the Christmas markets are great.
