Review summary

I don't think that the overall price I paid for this cruise was worth my money. Not sure if I would cruise with Norwegian again. Very disappointed overall. This was my grand childrens first cruise and they were very unhappy. Also, since I am a smoker I think that there should be a little more space for the smokers. All we had was a very small spot on the upper deck and it was always packed full not even enough room to sit, always had to stand up. If it rained you were getting wet because of the location.

I think that the splash academy should be running during port times. There are times when you want to do things in port that children don't and it would give parents time to themselves other than on the boat.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The cabin steward was great but the rest of the staff not so much. We had a staff member tell us what we should do with our children. Very upsetting to us for them to be so rude.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The layout of the ship was okay. It always seemed to be very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin steward kept the cabin looking good. Missed seeing the towel animals that have always been a part of cruising.

This particular cruise isn't even over yet. Either this person is already reviewing the cruise they are still on or they have their sail date wrong.

Sometimes I don’t believe parents really think about what they plan for their kids. If the splash park would have been opened and you would have left the kids behave and something would have happened to 2 of them , the next thing would have been to blame the cruise company because someone should have been watching them. Also god forbid for some reason you would have missed getting back on the ship , what would your kids have done with no parent on the ship. If you need to be alone that bad take a vacation alone.

They probably should consider other vacation venues than a cruise.

Splash academy isn’t open on port days because who in their right mind would get off the ship and leave their children behind. So many things could go wrong in that situation…..

Young grandchildren on an eleven night cruise had to be a challenge at any price.
