Review summary

Just pick another cruise. Now....if you ate very old and don't wish to leave the ship and ho to bed at 7pm. This cruise is perfect for you.

Venetian was good. Aqua was awful. The buffet was the best we have ever had on any cruise. Huge variety, fresh, delicious!

Onboard Activities

There was really nothing but the gym. The pool is small and severely overcrowded.

Entertainment

It was a disaster. The ONLY good entertainment was the singers who played in the atrium. Problem was the music went up many floors and you couldn't escape it, no matter where you went. Plus they used loud mics and made it too loud for the venue. The stage productions were sad at best

Children's Programs

We had no children with us but I need to give credit where it's due. The Dinosaur kids pool looked amazing

Service and Staff

Staff is usually the highlight of any cruise. Not to show favoritism, but the Filipino staff shine at service. We did NOT like the entertainment director. She had a shrill voice that was terrible to wake to each day. She spoke to us as if we were all children who needed to line up and "have fun".

Ship Quality

The design is poor. The ship is old and many things ste broken. Yes it was very clean, but you can only do do much.

Cabin / Stateroom

This could very likely be the worst room on the ship. I needed to bend over to get into bed because of the overhead bed on the wall. After 11 days I ended up having a spraned back muscle due to the repetitive bend and twist motion. Plus the main staff access to the "insides" of the ship were on two sides of our room.
