Expecting a small ship experience will not lead to disappointment. The ports are fun. The food is mediocre. The shows are good. Norwegians freestyle is nice. The small ship benefit is there is always room for you, whether a lounge chair, a place at the pool at Harvest Caye, and usually in the dining room.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was a problem. Something must have happen that held up boarding. We got there at 9 and didn't sit down to lunch till 1:30. Way delayed.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The main dining room was pretty standard fare. Nothing special, but acceptable. Being gluten sensitive, I was limited, but my husband, who is not, felt the same. We've been a couple times on the Breakaway, and they were much more accommodating on helping with making gluten free not a problem. The specialty restaurants tried hard, had good service, but also were not top notch. And did nothing to accommodate gluten sensitivity.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
This is a small ship. There are not a lot of on board activities. They have basketball, one small pool, and a golf net. I did run on the job track. There are no bars/restaurants on deck 7, but it is a totally circular walkway.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The shows were their talent, and they were good. Comedian was entertaining. They had a good magician if you like that.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The cabin steward Serge was excellent. The restaurant staff was half and half. Some were great, friendly and interested. Others were disinterested.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The layout was fine. It was a little confusing, as because it's a small ship, you can't always get to a by walking towards a, you need to go around to b first. We learned the ship pretty quickly.
The fishing village is great. Surprised that prices have gone up as fast as they have. The trolley doubled in price in the last 6 months. Hope it doesn't lose its charm.
