Great Ship Norweigan Dawn , terrific crew always cheerful and helpful and they do to above and beyond to assist passengers anyway possible to make your trip the best.

Best to be early or mid-morning , a great big line at later times is no fun in the afternoon times , the waiting is the worst , but you can chat with strangers and make friendly talk and learn something new.

We were given a small shipment of 60,000 meals when 90,000 were ordered a mild rationing was made and very noticeable day 11 ,12 ,13 ,14. Milk was not abundant nor was rib eye steak it was non-existent the entire 2 week cruise as it did not meet standards.

Very nice buffet line , only issue was a slight shortage of meals ( 30,000 meals refused in loading port Boston as not to standards , 60,000 meals of 90,000 ordered ) , milk items were rationed on day 10 through day 14 were very noticeable.

Great time , having fun playing slots even though I lost. Paradise lotto , 2nd chance drawings on lotto for losing tickets at midnight each night I won a bottle of wine- Merlot my choice ( red or white wine's ) many winners of $100.00 on Paradise Lotto $2.00 a set of 5 numbers ticket.

Great cabin for 1 or 2 but can accommodate 3 comfortably .

Ship tip

Always make sure you get a unlimited drink package when travelling , if it is necessary to upgrade your reservation do it , it's well worth the money spent as drinks alcoholic or non-alcoholic will be costly on a 2 week cruise

Great people and shop's , my first shop that opened to purchase local artist's postcards , I was given a free gift of an local artists small bowl equal to my purchase of $28.00 for postcards the shop is 306 and I made their first customer and they my day too. Accepts Visa and MasterCard. A small shop a block away to the right a very nice woman was getting up and I asked about postcards $1.00 each Cash only but after 9am Another shop can process credit cards for her , I also had to run back on ship for my cash , also returning and being another first purchased of her day an extra 3 postcards i did not choose were in with my 8 I chose as a gift and thank you for starting off her day of sales.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico had police at every corner in streets to assist any way possible for directions and safety as the island is still in recovery. Wonderful people all very nice .
