Review summary

The family suite was spacious and newly refurbished with very good service. Cozumel and Roatan were ok but Harvest Caye and Costa Maya were excellent stops. The shore excursions were a bit expensive but well organized and worth it, especially for first-time visits.

The fitness room and walking/jogging track were nice but the rest of the activities on the ship were very limited with only one small pool.

The biggest disappointment was the food. Most of the food tasted bland and about the same. We had a speciality restaurant package but visited only one speciality restaurant (Le Bistro). The food there was so uninspiring that we opted to forgo the remaining package.

Take time to enjoy this newly developed island with beautiful and not too crowded beach and pools.

Recommend Chacchoben Ruins over Tulum Ruins.

Le Bistro is probably my least favorite and only because the French food just isn't appealing to me but all the other specialty restaurants were great. I don't like a lot of Mexican food and that place is one of my favorites!! Cagneys is amazing!!

we had the speciality package and enjoyed all 4 restaurants that we booked. Moderno was our favorite. Cagney's was great, Teppanaki was entertaining and La Cucina was good.

I've found the specialty restaurants, excluding Moderno, to consistently be very good to excellent across several ships. What was uninspiring? What did they say about it?
