Review summary

We were very excited seeing the decor on the Dawn. The refurbish sparked new life into the Dawn. This is our third or fourth sailing on the Dawn. We have always loved the size but realized she was beginning to show her age. What a surprise. The theater was remarkable, lounges, dinning rooms and specialty dinning areas were lovely and comfortable. The crew and staff were very friendly helpful and hardworking. Great food, entertainment throughout the ship kept everything fun and lighthearted. Love the new wine bar, a great addition. Many of us had the ultimate beverage package and the bartenders were professional and very well prepared to serve their thirsty customers. The new look on the cabins brought us up to the new millennium. The clean fresh look of the bedding and furnishings was very inviting. Good job, Norwegian. Great cruise.

We will be sailing on the Dawn for the second time... in 11 days! (So can't wait!) A vacation is everything you make it! We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff. Many of which made each meeting very personal! Not sure how they were able to remember so many individuals... yet they did! Staff is always diligently working and cheerful. Attention to detail is apparent in all areas. Of course there was some wear evident in some areas of the ship. (This was pre renovation) With the volume of people on these ships, with a very short window for turnover.... I am not sure what people expect. Only so much can be done without interfering with guests. I remember being surprised to see on the promenade deck, sanding and painting and minor repairs.... the staff are on their toes 24/7! I feel the complaints are from people who are born complainers. Enjoy your trip! We will!!!

Agreed! We will have our third cruise with them in 60 days and planning to book again probably next year
