Review summary
This marks my 10th cruise, first on Norweigan. The Ship was in great condition, all the facilities are well maintained the staff was truly great - only one minor irritation in 7 days.
The destinations are just a yawn = Cozumel - nice Mexican Island though everywhere you go someone is trying to sell you something. Roatan - Another beautiful Island where we took a private tour and saw much of the island - natural beauty being rapidly overtaken by commercialism. The West End beach was so crowded it reminded us of Daytona at spring break - we just turned and left. "Belize" isn't Belize at all. Harvest Caye - It's a private Island developed by the Cruiseline - you're a captive audience on this small caye. Sure it has ziplines, and an AMAZING pool, but nothing about it resembles Belize. Last stop Costa Maya another pop-up destination that only exists because of cruiseline traffic. All the stops feature the same shops, selling the same cheap crap, I just don't recommend this route. This ship however was very nice, the food was adequate - if not plentiful. Save for getting sick on day 2 and rough seas for 3 days it was pretty relaxing.
