Review summary

The buffers rarely changed and most of the food was not good. The fish are every meal at the buffet or dining rooms tasted like it was frozen. The 24 hours restaurant offers burgers hot dogs and things like Sheppard pir917@yahoo.com that u don't want to snack on at 2 am. For the price I was very disappointed. Also all restaurants are closed while in port so u must eat buffet. Food service did not start till almost 4 day of departure. The parties did not offer novelty items drinks specials or any food. DON'T BOOK THIS

I believe all the food on cruise ships are brought onboard frozen - except for the produce and dairy. At least that's what I was told.

on departure and return days the crew including stewards, waiters, kitchen, etc. are so busy trying to get 2000 people and all their luggage on board that it helps if the passengers be patient and kind. check out the decks, library, pool, basketball or volleyball, fitness center, promonade.

- Interested in your comment about no food on departure day..... typically they have buffet, main dining room, and OSheehans open from 1130am to just before muster drill..... . did you get there late and arrive after the muster drill? Then that would make sense why food would begin being served again around 4..... - at 2am, with all due respect, they're not going to keep open MDR or specialty restaurants for a handful of people who may want to eat... hamburgers, hot dogs, buffalo wings, etc are exactly what 95% of people are wanting.

burgers and hot dogs and chicken tenders, fries, fresh fruit and ice cream available as soon as we got onto ship at around 11:30, at Pool.

What! The fish is not fresh caught on a cruise? Shouldn't the crew just catch the fish as they sail around?

Allure was designed for people to eat at various places for crowd control and experience. We found that there was a good selection of food throughout the day.

Thanks, sounds like the same deal we have here on the Allure! 1st RC cruise and I am NOT impressed.
