Review summary
The newly refurbished Norwegian Dawn is a very beautiful ship. With that being said, the new renevations have removed the Aft dining area that very many people like and it was sacrificed to add a new specialty dining area. The crew could not have been nicer and more willing to serve. The staterooms were very nicely re-done with plenty, as to be expected, of space. Overall, the cruise was very good and nicer weather would have helped but that is cruising. The port of New Orleans needs a few improvements in order for people to unload and board the ships ( signage with directions would be nice) as we had to drop off luggage and circle around to park. Exiting the ship and customs could not have been easier and leaving the port was very easy. Hope this helps.

Ship tip
The Dawn is one of Norwegians smaller ships and the size of the crowds for dinners and excursions is perfect. I missed the beach clubs of the larger ships and really wished that they were on the smaller ships. Bars were really easy to get drinks. Overall service is better on this size ship.
