Review summary

This was our third cruise on the Dawn. We returned mainly to see Jose and Patti's wonderful entertainment nightly in the beautiful atrium. The food was excellent and the service throughout the ship outstanding. No wonder the Dawn was recently named Number One in Entertainment and Service of all Norwegian Cruise Line's ships!

Jose and Patti in the Atrium nightly were are reason for returning to the Dawn....wonderful, personable entertainers. There were other enjoyable entertainers in the atrium and the Stardust Theater.

Outstanding service overall. Particularly Roel, concierge; Szabina, hostess Moderno/Aqua; Roshith, waiter Cagney's; Daniel, bartender Java cafe bar

Nice size ship. It has recently been refurbished and upgraded to compete with the newer ships in the fleet.

Nice arrangement. The butler and the cabin steward were very attentive.

Ship tip

I like this size ship. Entertainment is a big part of our enjoyment. And you don't get that on the smaller ships. The perks of a suite include specialty dining areas giving you the feel of a smaller ship while still having the advantages of a larger one.
