Review summary

The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Lot's of on board activities, and excellent excursion offerings. This is my second cruise with Norwegian, and they have really stepped up their game in the food department, with food quality and variety in preparation. Not just bland chicken, fish, beef, or pork. These meats were offered in a variety of preparations. Be prepared for kids, but maybe it was late spring break.

Very nice for an inside cabin, which is always my preference.

Ship tip

The atrium is beautiful, which is how I can always gauge the beauty of and pride in the ship.

You don't need to make reservations for the shows on their smaller ships. The theater at the front can hold about 40% of the passengers 2 times a night. Go 30 mins before the shows start-and you will have your choice of seating. We prefer going in on deck 7 to sit in the balcony. This was my second cruise with 7 adults total. And we all want to go again in this ship from NOLA. Fantastic time! 😍

I was told we could make reservations to shows on the ship ahead of time but can't see any available for booking on Ncl's website.

The dawn is my favorite ship this stuff is great the restaurants are clean the shows are fantastic the colors of the ship are fun as well as the music
