Norwegian Dawn

7 Night Eastern Canada & New England (New York Roundtrip)

Sail Date: September 26, 2010

Ship: Norwegian Dawn

Cabin Type: Oceanview

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Review Summary

The ship was clean and pretty. When eating freestyle, sections of the food line would be closed causing a shortage of seating on the side with the food. The tea was the worst. Coffee was not the best. Hair dryers were very heavy. No lobster night on a trip to Canada and New England!! The rooms were large for a cruise ship and kept clean. Bed and pillows were hard. For older people, they were uncomfortable. The staff and the shows were wonderful!!

Wonderful museum showing Maude Lewis' home and paintings. Fog hindered our view. That was just Mother Natures' fault not the town or ship.
Don't Miss: Maude Lewis paintings and house

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
view of the shore and the town, plus anything blueberry, coffee, pie, ice cream etc
Don't Miss: everything you can cram in that the town suggests.

Pros: waiting times getting on and off the boat was shorter than most ships

Cons: the beds and pillows were hard
