Review summary

Overall very impressed. I worked on the QE2 so I have high standards with regards to cruising.Apart from the food, tasting like it was prepared the day before and then warmed up everything was good especially the choice of entertainment and quality of shows.The itenary was also varied although excursions all seemed to be the same in each port ie tubing/canope lines/horse riding/snorkelling. Because of the freesstyle dining element the service lacks a personal touch and staff seem to be complacent as they are gauranteed their tips at the end of cruise,so dont always go the extra yard or seem interested in doing so.

Choice of restaurants and food good, but familarity can cause comtempt after 11 days cruising.Freestyle dining is a great element and you are not dictated by meal times like alot of ships so eat when you feel like!

Cannot be faulted of high standard and to suit all tastes.Great job by cruise staff.

As mentioned, with freestyle dining this element was non existant, yes staff smiled but were in no rush to please or bend over backwards.

For a oceanview cabin everything was great,the bed was amazingly comfortable and the stateroom staff were thorough.

Was hustled every where we went.Taxis in port charged $90 for round trip of 20 miles.Went rafting on river for 15 mins for $50 spent most time sitting on land.Dunns River falls was fantastic lots of people but worth the walk up.People hastled us to buy souvenirs/even food it was all too much.People rude and arrogant especially if you said no and probably making more money than you and me!

People friendly and toured the island including jungle (watch for mosquitos) then cave tubing was amazing and great value for money
