Review summary

This was out second cruise on this Ship. We have taken approximately 14 cruises in the last 7 years. This ship is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were wonderful and helpful.

Food in the main dining hall was average for a cruise line. Dinner in the speciality restaurants was slightly better.

The ship has several nice lounges and the pool area is wonderful. If you are not on the pool deck by 0900, seats are hard to find.

Cabin / Stateroom

We opted for a mini-suite and found it to be very spacy and well maintained. The extra space is a blessing given the small spaces provided in the inner cabins.

Ports of call

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

This was not the best Island retreat and it was crowded. They dont have jet skis like other private locations. This island has average snorkeling. Best to stay on the ship in the morning around the pool while the mad rush is made for the beach. Then go over in the early afternoon when the folks are trying to get back. You miss both crowds and have the pool then the beach.

Nassau, Bahamas

The time spent in Nassau was pleasant. The local bars are cheaper than Senior Frogs which is a tourist trap. If you like spending 7 bucks per beer, go there and hang out. The local stores charge 2 bucks a beer.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Bermuda is beautiful. I would recommend renting a scooter and touring the island. Most of the beaches are 20 to 40 minutes on a scooter. Don't drink and drive those things. It is a day of beach relaxation. Save the drinking for the ship or bar next to the ship.
