Review summary

It was a very enjoyable relaxing cruise. My husband and I loved the adventures on this cruise. Enjoyed the excursions. Except for the one guide but they were very educational.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was very good. We tried all the restaurants that were included and 3 speciality restaurants. The food was delicious and the service was great. All the drinks we tried at the bars and restaurants were made perfect. The servers were always friendly. A couple of times the food which should have been hot, it was cold.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We didn't do any activities, except entertainment shows. We did enjoy sitting on the deck where the pools were and watching the sky and waves.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We watched the comedian, karaoke and the dual piano players. This was very enjoyable watching this entertainment.

Children's Programs

Had no children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was very friendly and always smiling. They made you feel welcomed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was always clean. Staff was always cleaning. They were always reminding you to wash your hands after eating.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was a nice size and very clean. The only thing I wish they had by the bed is that they had plugs, so I can plug in my phone by the bed.

Ship tip

Enjoy yourself.

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

That's where we hopped on the ship.

Newport, Rhode Island

It was raining, it was hard to really enjoy. The excursion on the ticket said we would see mansions and we only saw one and the man apologize and gave some kind of excuse and then I went back to the ship and asked them and they said it was only supposed to be one. I was disappointed on the wording on the excursion.

Portland, Maine

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the excursion. The guide was great. Was able to see a lot of the area and learn a lot. The weather was nice. Very beautiful.

Bar Harbor, Maine

Very beautiful area. Very enjoyable the excursion. We had enjoyed everything we had seen. The guide was great. Made everything very interesting.

Saint John, New Brunswick

Everything was great, the only problem we had, along with others on the bus, we were not allowed to use the bathroom and the guide was yelling at us, as if we were children, she was very rude. The places were nice and interesting. I had asked if we could stay an extra 15 minutes at the shopping place, since we were going back to the same place twice, which no one wanted to go to, and she was very nasty and said NO. Everyone came up to me and said they were glad I asked, and couldn't believe she was like this. The next stop was our last and it was to stop at a bar to get a beer and she said to everyone that we better be nice to her since she is holding the beer tickets or we won't get one. I felt she was very unprofessional.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Great scenery and interesting scenery. Guide was great and giving good information about the area and things that have happened.

Disembarkation
