This was our first time in the NCL Haven. It was an experience like no other on a cruise ship. The service was above and beyond what is expected and the food and drinks were great. It was nice to have a quiet place away from the rest of the ship, although you could always enjoy these activities any time you wished. Really a different way to travel. We will be doing this again.

The Haven dining room and bar area were super. The food was terrific, as was the service. Cagneys and Ocean Blue were super specialty restaurants with amazing food and great service.

We enjoyed several of the shows and game shows. The pool and deck areas were wonderful in the Haven area.

Cabin / Stateroom

The penthouse was so large with a separate bedroom, king sized bed, huge bathroom with a fantastic shower, and great sitting area. We could not have asked for a better cabin.
Puerto Plata has a really nice pool area with lively music, a swim up bar, lazy river and terrific shops that is right off the ship. This is a great place to chill in the sun.
St Thomas has great places to see, like the gondola to the top of a mountain, excursions to the top of other mountains for great views and even shopping stops. The water is so beautiful in St Thomas.
We had a Haven on the Breakaway in November 2022. Unfortunately, the Haven ruined cruising for me as I don’t want to cruise any other place or cabin. The cruise we are going on in February 2025 would cost over$20,000 for the Haven so we are passing. This is about 1/4 the cost of a new car and just can’t fathom the expense just for the few perks. We will be in an aft cabin and probably hating life.
