Review summary

Charges for every little thing that used to be included, just too many people to be enjoyable. Food quality is good but not like it used to be. Cutting staff affects the overall cruise experience. This was our 12 Norwegian cruise and probably our last….

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Long lines, appointment times for embarkation did not mean a thing!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Cut in staff created poor service, especially at the bars.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Lots of activities but ship is not designed to handle the crowds

Entertainment

3 out of 5
If you could get reservations for the shows, they were really good!

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Staff seemed very dismissive to concerns

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Too many guests and not nearly enough spaces for people

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
While kept clean, those little pampering experiences on other cruises were not present. Cleaning supplies were constantly stored in hallways… not a great sight

Ship tip

Go on a smaller ship

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

3 out of 5
Stayed a couple days, expensive but well worth the costs

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

2 out of 5
Same old, same old… just doesn’t change over the years

Harvest Caye, Belize

3 out of 5
Favorite stop

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5

Cozumel, Mexico

2 out of 5
Boring…..

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Good experience until we tried to get transportation… finally walked to get vehicle

I’m wondering what they charged for as well that was free? My last cruise was 2004, but been doing other things….but definitely looking forward to our cruise in March. My hubby’s first time on a ship

What were they charging for that used to be free?

There's no going back to "what it used to be".

Cruising is not what it was prior to Covid on any cruise line. I’m not sure you will find much different if you switch to another line.

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us. Costs similar across all lines.

Curious to know what the additional charges were, I see a lot on here about this on a lot of cruises.
