Horrible. Have been on many previous cruises - several with Norwegian previously. Never will I cruise Norwegian again.
Embarkation

I AM DISABLED SINCE 1999, I REQUESTED WHEELCHAIR ASSISTANCE AT THE PIER, WHICH WAS ACKNOWLEDGED, I HAD ASKED MULTIPLE NCL EMPLOYEES AND THEY INDICATED WHEELCHAIRS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. I WAITED IN A MOB SCENE OUTSIDE TERMINAL FOR OVER TWO HOURS TO GET IN AND WAS THEN TURNED DOWN SEVERAL TIMES ONCE I GOT INSIDE. THIS HAS HAD A SERIOUS EFFECT ON MY HEALTH AND MY ABILITY TO ENJOY MY CRUISE VACATION. I HAD PREVIOUSLY SAILED WITH NORWEGIAN AND HAD PREVIOUSLY BOOKED AND PAID FOR A CRUISE IN APRIL AND I REGRET THIS.

Pool so crowded you couldn't get seat. Singing group stunk. Boring.

Stage shows were sold out for 7:30 showings. 10:00 showings were poor quality. Syd Norman's Rock House was great.

Pool way to small. Bathrooms didn't work. Went to four different lady's rooms before finding a toilet that flushed. Feces on floor. Maintenance ignored. Keycard didn't work.
This will be my first NCL cruise. Breakaway Italy and Greek Isles…. Please tell me what was so bad…. I am nervous….. this is big for us. I have done Royal Caribbean, Princess and Carnival…. I would do them all again.. why do you say this, please…
I just want to say a little something about the cruise port of New Orleans I actually live 40 miles one way from New orleans port.. out of 40 something cruises that I have taken half of them been through the port of New Orleans. But the terminal employees wearing a carnival tag in a Carnival uniform are making the Carnival Cruise line look bad because they don't actually work for Carnival I know two of the employees, they are contract workers that work for a different company. I'm not taking up for them it's just an FYI.
Really sorry you had such a bad experience. We really enjoyed the Breakaway cruise we had in May this year. Probably from staying in The Haven helped. Our service was wonderful. The food really great. Our room steward and butler made sure things were great, even putting decorations up for our 40th anniversary. Getting seats at shows and events was easy. I really recommend trying it. We were so impressed we booked a cruise for next year for Spain, France and Italy. It was worth the price. We are expecting the same service on the Epic.
I sympathize with your initial plight but you went "overboard" with your scorched earth review and lost credibility.... always throw in a few positive things for credibility and avoid looking like sour grapes
We sailed out of New Orleans right before Covid on the Breakaway. I must agree with you about the mob scene in the terminal. My husband also needs a scooter to get around. This was the worst embarkation we have experienced in over 50+ cruises and have sworn off NOLA cruises.🥴
