Great itinerary. Good service. Set your goals low with the food. But we certainly didn’t go hungry. Specialty restaurants are getting pricey. Look ahead to the weather in your ports. We packed summer to fall. Layers.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Reading so many reviews of glitches in embarkation we were prepared to relax and wait. Got to the port at 11:15 am and on by 12:30. Smooth!! Just have all your ducks in a row-negative covid test, ArrCan receipt, boarding pass.

Food and Dining

This was ouR biggest disappointment. We cruised on 3 other NCL cruises and always was excellent food at the buffet, main dining rooms. Buffet was just unappealing to the eye, everything seemed brown in a sauce. Salad had 6-8 items only. Staff directs passengers to wash
their hands at sinks when you walk in the buffet. I watched-say 10 walk in 4 wash. Can’t say if they use hand sanitizer, didn’t watch. You serve yourself. I saw a passenger lick her fingers before she took a spoon out. Bring your own sanitizer to use before you start eating. We ate in the
Manhattan and was lousy. Service ok, slow lady 2 nights. Good lukewsrm, dry meat. We ate at Cagney, over the top wonderful, just can’t afford that every night, lol.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Plenty to do. We used the fitness center almost daily and husband did ropes course. We were off the ship in each port so didn’t participate in other activities.
Entertainment

Lots going on. Many offerings. Get to the venues early and book on the app ones that need reservations

We did an upgrade bid from ocean view to club suite balcony. Nice big bathroom, roomy, bed, couch but typical small balcony. It was nice tho! Bid almost lowest. Ship was only 2800 instead 4200 passengers
Absolutely our favorite stop. Would give 6 stars! Beautiful port, harbor walk. Shops, eateries. Another walkable but hilly city. We booked the hop on hop off but only used one stop. Must see-The Public Gardens, The Citadel, Maritime Museum. Go through the warship at the harbor front, free. Pot shops fantastic! Real good made in Canada.
Beautiful stop. We went on Mansions excursion. Highly recommend, but that’s your whole day there. We had no time to explore the shops. AND- you have to tender. NCL used their tenders and tender packed full like sardines. So if your concerned about illness bring a mask.
Very walkable town, but up hill a lot. Very nice shops! Took excursion called An Intimate Tour of Acadia. Small group. But no time at 2 stops. One 20 minutes at Cadillac Mtn and a 10 minute at tge rocky shore. Good way to get a glimpse at the park.
Another hilly but walkabout town. Took Highlights of St John bus tour. Got to see highlights. We walked the town and went to the City Market (crafts and food) in the morning and took the tour in the afternoon.
