Our first cruise. Nice to be able to drive to the port from home. A little chilly til we got down south.

Review summary

1st cruise and we booked the Haven. We loved the boat but the ports left a lot to be desired. Would do it again and not get off the ship at all.

We booked the Haven so it was super easy!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Just amazing! We loved eating dinner next to the window. First cruise and we love water so I loved the ship better than the ports.

Entertainment was top notch!! Rock of Ages was just amazing!! Definitely R rated (so maybe not kid appropriate) but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ship Quality

When at 100% capacity it is very hard to find a lounge chair on the main decks.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was my first cruise and we booked the Haven. We were very happy with the room.

Ship tip

Don’t miss the ice bar! A very “cool” experience. We only stayed about 30 mins. 1st drink was free. Lots of picture taking opportunities inside.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

We did not appreciate this port. Seemed very touristy.

Nassau, Bahamas

Not very exciting. Jewelry was overpriced. We were here for two days because GSC was cancelled. One day we stayed on the ship and did the water slides. We had a great time onboard.
