Wonderfully relaxing and totally decompressing cruise. We were celebrating a birthday on a honeymoon and the staff were magically wonderful! Would definitely do again and maybe drag the rest of our adult kids with us. :)
Norwegian Breakaway Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Overall, it was a wonderful cruise and we will do it again... though maybe try another ship with Norwegian.
Embarkation

Quick and easy. Definitely choose the earliest boarding time. Faster and you can just hang out on board until your room is ready (it may still be getting ready that early)
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Delicious and more than enough. Many think you have to gorge yourself but you don't. Eat as much or as little. There is something for everyone! Really liked Moderno.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We were basically there to relax and enjoy the sun and sea. Luckily it was nice out most of the time. There were more than enough things to do for us.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The shows were good. The best was the Cirque Dreams & Dinner Jungle Fantasy. I would have given five stars but this was the first time I was on Norwegian and it was disturbing, and not comfortable, that 'Adult Only' shows were not screened and there were children, very young at times, walking in and sitting in the front. Not cool. Also, most of the entertainment targeted fairly young adults. My husband and I are older adults. We like to dance and enjoy music too not just games. It was not really pleasant to find the 'Adult Only' dancing and music was really for very young 'adults'. So we basically avoided that. Overall it was fine but it would have been nicer if there was some evening activity geared toward someone born before 1970 other than drinking or gaming.
Service and Staff

For the most part, we had great service. For one dinner, the waitress charged me for all the drinks at another table, so check daily! However, guest services more than fixed it with a smile!

Ship tip
If you can do a balcony room, it is definitely worth it!
We just grabbed a taxi and spent a lovely relaxing day at Kennedy Space Center. Cheaper than an excursion and you just pay the admission fee there. If you are a senior there is a discount.
Lisakaye26 there’s no nudity but the 18+ comedy shows were full of f-bombs and sex talk. Rock of Ages is rated PG13 - it has women dancing in bras/underwear, legs spread open, gyrating, and lots of sex talk/jokes
This one family brought their young kids to the 18+ comedy show at 11pm and sat in the 2nd row. The comic berated them until they finally left and the crowd cheered, it was pretty funny
Dan, your daily planner will go e you many details , usually the early shows are more family oriented and the later shows are more adult. Details will. E available to all this once you get on board the ship ... Enjoy yourself and have a awesome cruise ...
Dan: shows may change due to different contracts in a European market. I would check Cruise Critic closer to your sail date and look for Dailies to help plan.
Lisa: same for you with your cruise in 2019. Contracts may change and new shows may be introduced over the next 9 months. Rock of Ages is an example that has adult theme situations not suitable for kids.
Which shows are Adult only? We are taking our kids in January. And can you explain a bit. Nudity? Sexual type interactions? Language? I would really like a head up on this. Thanks!!
Ultimately it's the parents who should receive your criticism to allow their very young children to sit in the front row..... the Dailies clearly indicate which shows are "adult themes".... just because you're on vacation doesn't mean being a parent stops ..
