Review summary

We have sailed 44 times and will not sail on NCL again. Service was poor, lots of extra charges and they seem to be trying to funnel dining to specialty restaurants or the buffet.

Service was awful in main dining room - Slow, inaccurate and even served melted ice cream. Specialty restaurants were good but nothing special. Buffet was better most ship buffets.

stage shows were excellent. Musicians and there performers were fair.

Did not have children with us.

Service and Staff

Never met or knew the name of our room steward until he left note on last day with his name. Waiters in main dining room were slow, inaccurate and did nothing extra.

Ship is beautiful and well laid out.

Balcony was really small - barely room for 2 small chairs and table. Cabin had lots of storage space but no drawers.

Ship tip

Be aware there are extra charges for just about everything and options for breakfast and lunch are limited.

We did an excursion. Be aware that any excursion on the mainland is a 35-50 minute boat ride before you get other transportation to excursion.

Lots of shopping and entertainment. We rented golf cart to Majahual and had a great lunch and beers on the beach.

Thanks for the review. I believe the buffet in main dining rooms offer breakfast, lunch and dinner at no additional charge. We’ve never paid extra for specialty dining, drink packages, etc. and always had a great time.
