We just returned from our first journey abroad the NCL Breakaway, she is a beautiful ship with the hints of Peter Max art work placed around the ship. Our first trip with water boxes, ncl,s way of trying to eliminate single use plastic.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall everything was awesome, but as in everything, there were a few minor issues.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Third time we were unable to visit out island due to unsafe weather conditions, Royal Caribbean has a pier?

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Burn the Floor, awesome show!!! New show Six even better !!! Well done. NCL.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Just need extra bar staff !!! Every bar understaffed.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
A few items should be addressed, restaurant next to casino, not when they smoke. And cigar bar across from special restaurants, not smart.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Inside cabin, small not a lot of storage, nice bathroom thought. It was cheap so not completely all that bad.

Ship tip

Book the show’s early.

Disembarkation

Nothing against NCL, all of the disembarkation’s stink. Unless your in a suit or on a small ship there all disappointing

I was on the same ship? What time did you get to the port to get on the ship? I got there about 11am. No lines whatsoever. On the ship in less than 15 minutes. ... Apparently Breakaway was able to tender to Great Stirrup Cay just a few days before we couldn't. Yes Coco Cay just opened a pier in spring of 2019. Although if you saw the huge waves crashing on the shore of Coco Cay you would know it must not have been fun there. NCL talks about a pier at Great Stirrup but you have to be willing to destroy a lot of sea life to do it.

Always disappointing when you have to skip a port, but that happens even when there’s a dock sometimes. Glad overall you had a good time
