Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We did not have a bad meal on this ship. The only specialty restaurant we ate at was the Teppanyaki and it was a wonderful experience. Definitely get breakfast at Moderno in the morning, it is quiet because most people don’t know about it and the eggs Benedict are different each day! We loved the Manhattan Room, it was a lovely dining experience with the band that was playing. The buffet was huge and had a great variety.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The game shows were really fun and so was trivia. It seemed like something was always happening in the atrium which was fun. The theme parties were nice too.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was superb, you have to go to Howl at the Moon and Wine Lovers the Musical. Rock of Ages was also really fun and the comedian was great as well.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff on this ship were absolutely amazing, especially the atrium bartenders. They were always upbeat and by the end of the cruise they knew our orders and would start making them when they saw us. The waiters in all the MDRs were amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us. Everyone we interacted with were super helpful and kind.
Ship Quality

This ship is absolutely gorgeous and the waterfront is to die for. So lovely to walk around after dinner with a drink.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was lovely, we had the mini suite with extended balcony on deck 8. If you can, book deck 8 rooms on this ship! They are tucked away but it is no nice to be close to activities and the waterfront!
Ship tip
Have a positive attitude! A day on vacation is better than a day at work. The Atrium Bar is amazing!
This port was added about two weeks before we left so we were not expecting to stop here but what a pleasant surprise! I In wanted to see Fortaleza St so my husband and I navigated there, it’s pretty simple to find with Google Maps and it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to. After that we grabbed a Senor Palletas which was delicious and refreshing. We then took a stroll over to Castillo de San Cristobal. This was a much longer walk but if you are physically able it’s a great way to burn off the cruise calories. It’s only about 10 bucks a person to get in and it’s truly beautiful. We had a great time overall in San Juan.
Oh Tortola where do I begin? This was definitely my favorite port. First we did the zip line tour through Norwegian and it was a blast. The bus driver that took us gave us a little tour of the Island first and told us about the history of the Island. This trip is not for the faint of heart though, the roads and thin and very curvy but our bus driver was awesome and got us there safely. The employees at the zip line were super nice and everything felt very safe. We definitely got our monies worth out of the excursion. After the tour we made our way back to the port, we asked some locals for directions and headed to Pusser’s. Please if you do nothing else, STOP HERE! The ladies that work there are so nice, the food is amazing and affordable and you have got to try the painkiller! It is one of the best drinks I have ever had!
St. Thomas is the most beautiful place I have been to in real life. We took the sky tram and saw some amazing views. After that we headed to the distillery and bought some locally crafted Gin, the gentleman in the store was extremely nice. Then we headed to our snorkeling excursion which we booked through Norwegian. We took a fun and full boat ride out to do some snorkeling at a reef, we saw turtles and tons of fish! It was my first time so I was a little nervous but the staff were very helpful and informative. Then we headed to relax on the beach for a bit with plenty of rum punch to go around. I highly recommend St Thomas.
We sailed out of Miami and we had never been before. Be warned, if you are sailing from Miami in summer, IT WILL RAIN. As long as you are prepared it’s not so bad.
